The primary responsibility of the Implementation Project Manager (IPM) is to lead a successful software implementation, overseeing the installation process of software for new customers. The IPM will ensure that all timelines throughout the data conversion, deployments, and implementation periods are met. The IPM will prioritize project tasks, maintain project plans, oversee the Implementation Team, and communicate the ongoing status of the implementation to clients, project sponsors, and senior management. Ensuring the project is implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements is a key responsibility.
As part of preparing for each implementation, the IPM will collaborate with Technical Writers. The IPM will review administrative documentation for the customer and ensure that it is modified as needed to meet contractual requirements for each customer installation.
