Belmar Bakery & Café was established in 1965 as a full retail line bakery. It still stands in its original location on 34th & Bell in Amarillo, Texas and has been expanded several times to include a bigger bakery, café, and a cake showroom called Cakeland. These updates have allowed us to add new traditions and recipes to the tried and true ones that have made Belmar so great for over 50 years!
Join our high production CLEANING/KITCHEN/BAKERY TEAM with primary focus on keeping dishes washed and production area clean. Secondary focus is on helping with food prep/cook/baking. The ideal candidate will value hard work with a can-do attitude, will practice fanatical attention to detail, have a serving heart, is passionate, positive and trustworthy no matter the job, and doesnt make excuses,but cares about great resuls. ResponsibilitiesOperates the commercial dishwashing machine Washes certain items by hand Returns all deishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc to storage areas Empties and cleans out trash receptacles Sweeps, scrubs, cleans, mops production area floors Assist the kitchen making lunch and breakfast orders one day a week or wheen needed (will train) Assist the Baker's when necessary (will train) Shows up on time and ready to work QualificationsProven working experience as a dishwasher High integrity with a great attendance record Excellent critical thinking and time management skills Ability to listen and communicate effectively / follow directions.
