Position: Environmental O & M Technician

Position Location: Amarillo, TX

Job description: We are looking for a Technician to join our Trihydro team. Responsibilities will include assistance with the operation and maintenance of remediation systems components and support of routine groundwater monitoring programs at a former refinery. Role requires equipment maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting, and optimization; work with specialty subcontractors; and support of routine soil and groundwater sampling activities. Applicants will have knowledge and understanding of electrical, pumping, pneumatic and mechanical systems. Preferred candidates will have experience in air, groundwater, surface water and soil sampling. Applicants must be proficient with computers, and must have a clean driving record, be detail oriented, work in a team environment and have a commitment to safe operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

7-10 years of professional experience related to oil and gas, or petroleum, gas processing, and/or chemical facilities

Acceptable driving record

Acceptable written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team members

Acceptable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices

Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables on schedule

Dependable, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to travel periodically to support field activities for regional projects

Preferred Qualifications:

Direct industry employment history in environmental compliance, within an industrial setting or a related field
