We are looking for an Environmental Manager to join our team in the Canyon, TX area. This is a critical role that oversees all environmental operations at the facility including wastewater treatment, sampling, chemical handling, and spill prevention.

If you have the following, we want to hear from you:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years related experience.
Ability to obtain wastewater operator’s license.
Must possess mechanical aptitude and ability to perform work on pumps, motors, and other equipment, and be able to operate powered industrial equipment, including a forklift.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work using personal computer, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to motivate, direct, coordinate, train, and supervise employees for 24-hour, seven-day operations.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, good organization skills.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, focused on meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of safe work practices, ability to work safely, and ability to supervise the safe work practices of others.
Availability for occasional travel.

Job Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local environmental regulations.
Operate industrial wastewater operations in compliance with applicable permits and air pollution control.
Prepare technical calculations and reports to regulatory agencies.
Oversee spray field applications, as applicable.
Manage all environmental correspondence, record keeping, and reporting documentation.
Maintain all applicable state certifications and licenses.
Monitor daily maintenance of wastewater and other environmental control systems.
Manage the work of others, troubleshooting, assuring compliance and monitoring costs.
Oversee periodic sampling as required.
Ensure required documents are properly maintained.
