The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to join UTA during an exciting period of growth and contribute as the university broadens its impact.Job Summary The Donor Experience Officer ( DXO ), reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, works as a part of a high-performing, donor-centered team responsible for assisting UTA to create deeper connections with its donors and achieve its leadership annual giving goals. Using a variety of channels (email, social, video conferencing, and phone) and sales enablement technologies, the DXO stewards an assigned portfolio of donors by providing outreach and information that increases their engagement with the University of Texas at Arlington and regularly solicits them for annual gifts and cause-based initiatives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of 1,000 annual giving donors, fostering personalized donor engagement.

Execute an average of 45+ outbound touchpoints per day, using email, phone, social, video conferencing, and text messaging to maintain consistent and relevant donor communication.

Share the impact of their giving, provide updates on university developments, and offer engagement opportunities.

Promote philanthropic opportunities, including university priorities, and crowdfunding projects while maintaining extensive university knowledge and collaborating across teams for a comprehensive multi-channel marketing program.

Additionally, identify and engage alumni influencers and recognize potential major gift donors for referral to appropriate staff.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and one year of professional experience in direct sales, fundraising or marketing

High degree of professionalism and customer service

Adept at using social media, text, phone and video conferencing

Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills

Education and experience equivalencies will be considered

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in higher education fundraising as a student or professional

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

A high degree of professionalism and customer service.

Strong organizational skills and ability to set and meet appropriate deadlines.

Detail-oriented with high attention to follow through.

Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, TEAMs).
