Construction company in Round Rock is seeking an assistant with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy to assist with issuing of purchase orders for busy purchasing department.

Responsibilities:
- Assist field employees calling in and issue purchase orders and record it in accounting system
- Maintain a high level of accuracy with regard to general ledger codes and codes for job costs
- Create purchase orders for subcontractors based on information from project manager
- Understanding of new construction and remodel sales tax
- Follow up with vendors on invoices over PO amount or missing Pos
- Help coordinate equipment deliveries to jobsites
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
- Proficient using Microsoft Office product suite
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Good organization skills with great attention to detail
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Able to work in a structured team environment
- General knowledge and understanding of sales tax laws
- Ability to type 40+ WPM
- 10 Key by touch
Qualifications:
Min 2-3 years in accounting or administrative experience
Construction experience a plus
Foundations experience a plus
