Medical supply company is seeking a customer service over the phones to coordinate the admission process for new patients to ensure that the level of treatment and clinical services is appropriate to all patients needs.
DUTIES:
-Receive and respond to incoming calls and faxes from referral sources and/or potential patients and exchange information to identify the organization’s ability to meet the needs of the patient, on a case-by-case basis
-Verifying insurance by advising the appropriate staff of patient acceptance and provide all relevant information to ensure patients’ smooth transition to home care
-Identifies potential payer sources, verifies benefits with payer sources (as required by department organizational structure), negotiates rates and obtains initial authorizations from case managers
-Work with the Intake team, branch staff, and patients to identify potential solutions as problems are identified with payer sources
-Assists referral sources and/or patients with alternative community resources
Requirements- Great phone voice (sounds like their smiling) – You will be the primary point of contact and need to make a lasting impression.
-Computer Savvey
-Able to commute to Dripping Springs
-Bilingual in Spanish
-This client does require background check prior to starting
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
