Austin-area tow company has immediate openings for full-time or part-time dispatchers.
Job Title: Dispatcher / VSF Employee
Shifts available (Please indicate which shift you are interested in):
1st Shift: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
2nd Shift: 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; or
3rd Shift: 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Candidate is responsible for (Training Provided):
1. Answering a multi-line phone system;
2. Processing of vehicles when vehicles are delivered to our vehicle storage facility;
3. Assist vehicle owners with the vehicle release process and collect applicable charges;
4. Assigning tow requests to tow operators (ie: dispatching);
5. Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
1. Pass a pre-employment and random drug screenings.
2. Pass a background check.
3. Have or obtain a valid TDLR VSF Employee license.
Candidate must:
1. Have reliable transportation.
2. Demonstrate strong computer (and mobile device and app) skills.
3. Demonstrate strong customer service / communication skills.
4. Demonstrate the ability to address difficult situations calmly.
5. Demonstrate the ability to frequently move from indoors to outdoors, and outdoors to indoors (steps, outdoor terrain, weather).
