ATX Test Prep is an independent educational services firm, which has been operating continuously since 2009. We are seeking expert teachers in Austin to instruct classes and tutor students one-on-one for the SAT, ACT, and GRE. Teaching and tutoring take place primarily during evenings and weekends at our offices near St. Edward's University and in Westlake. This is a part-time position. Training is paid for comprehensively and availability for instruction is immediate.
Compensation:
Our starting pay is $35 per hour for all classroom teaching, with opportunities for raises on an annual basis. Instructors may teach up to 20 hours per week in a mix of classroom (maximum of 9 students) and one-on-one capacities.
ATX Test Prep is seeking instructors with the following:
-95th Percentile test scores on any (or all) of the tests we provide service for.
-Past experience teaching in a classroom setting.
-Familiarity with the SAT, ACT, and GRE
-A Bachelor's Degree (Master's Preferred)
-Availability from 3-9 PM during the week and ability to commit to weekend instruction on Saturdays or Sundays.
All ATX Test Prep instructors must:
- Make a minimum 12-month commitment.
