ARCHITECT / PROJECT MANAGER
ARCHITEXAS â Architecture, Planning and Historic Preservation, Inc. is a mid-size architectural firm with offices in Dallas and Austin that provides architecture, planning and urban design services, and is recognized nationally for award-winning preservation projects.
ARCHITEXAS Austin is seeking a full-time Architect / Project Manager, beginning immediately, with the following qualifications:
- Professional degree in architecture; advanced degree or strong interest in historic preservation is a plus.
- 5 â 7 years of experience working in an architectural firm.
- Proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD 2015 or higher for drawing and drafting is required.
- Competence in Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc), MS Office and MS Project is required.
- Experience in field measuring and converting measured drawings into CAD drawings is required.
- Ability to produce and manage medium sized government and commercial architectural projects.
- Conscientious, detail oriented, desire to take on responsibility.
- Excellent writing/communication skills.
- Must be willing to attend site visits and be able to interact and communicate effectively with clients. Some travel out of town will occasionally be required.
- Available for full time employment.
