Trihydro Corporation is a leading U.S. engineering and environmental firm dedicated to providing clients across many industries with effective, responsive, and safe solutions. We are looking for applicants with relevant experience providing design CADD assistance to civil engineers and surveyors, from processing survey data to preparing design mapping files to preparing construction plans for infrastructure, transportation, and water treatment facilities projects.
Position: Civil Design CADD Technician
Position Location: New Braunfels or Austin, TX
Job description: Responsibilities include working with civil engineers to develop drawings, layouts, and designs for engineering plans using basic design and engineering principals. Additionally, providing support to surveyors including drafting using CADD software to process and incorporate field data, manage data, and prepare engineering mapping used for civil site development and infrastructure projects.⯠Preferred applicants will have an AS Degree or higher in Computer Aided Drafting and Design Technologies and have 5 or more years of Autodesk software experience.â¯
Minimum Qualifications:
⢠5 or more years of Autodesk software experience, including Civil3D
⢠Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design Technologies, or pre-engineering program with CADD experience
⢠Basic understanding of Civil Engineering and design practices
⢠Basic understanding of land surveying procedures and fundamentals
⢠Knowledge of coordinate systems, mapping layout, and design techniques
⢠Knowledge with CADD set up using survey data
⢠Ability to manage multiple tasks
⢠Acceptable written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with project team members
⢠Acceptable employment history
⢠Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables on schedule
⢠Dependable, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
⢠Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy,
⢠MicroStation experience
