How You'll Know You're on the Right Track:
Within your first day, you should have been able to clone the repository and install the necessary tooling to build and run our projects locally.
Within your first week, you will be familiarizing yourself with the code base and coordinating work on development tickets as requested.
Within your first month, you should be successfully operating within the development team, submitting PRs, providing feedback on team member PRs, and advancing your assigned projects with your contributions.
Within your first year, you should be contributing to the data and software engineering teams to provide your personal insights as to how to improve our processes and architectures.
Responsibilities
10+ years of IT experience with minimum 5 years as Data Architect
Extension of platform database schema and API architecture in a future forward way
Data modeling and work breakdown of functional requirements into actionable tasks to be picked up by other data engineers
Experience analyzing, building and supporting SaaS based application
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources then reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily integrated into our core schemas
Design robust, scalable ELT/ETL architecture and processes
Provide relational database expertise to construct and execute SQL queries to be used in data analysis activities
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years building large, high traffic web applications at scale
5+ years writing scalable SQL and designing backend relational models
3+ years' experience with cloud data architecture, tools, and processes
5+ years writing technical documentation
