We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Agile Trading Technology team! This team is responsible for handling Equity/Options/Futures/Fixed Income order management and market data for the entire firm. In this role, you'll develop high-availability and low-latency system architectures for trading runtime. You'll also perform real-time troubleshooting for trading workflows and communicate feedback to product development.

What you are good at

  • Developing high-availability and low-latency system architectures
  • Developing predictive analytics and monitoring for Trading infrastructure
  • CI/CD orchestration systems
  • Utilization and development of tools, frameworks, and instrumentation to validate and increase rollout success for applications
  • Problem solving through systemization


What you have

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience with Linux or Windows system administration, troubleshooting and tuning
  • Demonstrated experience developing in one or more programming languages (.Net, Java, Powershell, Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Knowledge in one or more SQL, NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of IP networking including TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, IP routing, etc.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and messaging architectures
  • Solid experience with Open source tools Kafka, Splunk, Influx, Grafana, etc
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Bonus points for Financial Services Industry experience
