AI Automation SpecialistRemote | 1099 Contract | Potential W2 ConversionWe’re looking for an AI Automation Specialist who can help established businesses use AI and automation in practical, measurable ways. This is a remote 1099 contract role with the potential to convert to a full-time W2 position for the right person.This is not a strategy-only role. We need someone who can actually build, deploy, test and improve AI-powered workflows inside real business environments.What You’ll DoDeploy AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT within business environments, ideally using Team or Enterprise-level subscriptionsBuild and maintain automation workflows using n8n, Zapier or similar toolsConnect AI tools into daily operations so teams can reduce repetitive manual workHelp businesses improve turnaround times, internal capacity and overall efficiencyDesign, test and refine workflows that support real operational needsWork with business teams to understand bottlenecks and turn them into practical automation solutionsTroubleshoot, improve and document workflows as they evolveWhat We’re Looking ForHands-on experience implementing Claude, ChatGPT or similar AI tools in business settingsExperience with Team or Enterprise-level AI subscriptions is strongly preferredStrong automation experience with n8n preferred; Zapier experience is also valuableAbility to build practical workflows that solve real business problemsComfort working independently in a remote contract roleStrong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into working systemsA bias toward implementation, testing and iteration — not just recommendationsWhy This Role MattersMost growing businesses lose time and momentum because their teams are buried in repetitive work.
