You will lead a team of professionals from a variety of functions (Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Services, Industrial Design, User Experience, Finance, Procurement) to develop and introduce game-changing new products and solutions. This position drives concept development of mobility products for Dell’s Commercial lines of business, including Latitude and Precision. You will be the voice and advocate driving these programs to achieve cost, schedule and performance requirements.Key Responsibilities-Leads multiple cross-functional, Worldwide core team(s) through the early stages of product concept development.-Drives the core product design team to meet or exceed program objectives.-Drives progress, reports status and makes necessary corrections to achieve program objectives.-Drive phase review content and timing.-Schedule and present phase reviews and interim updates to senior executivesEssential Requirements-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus 10+ years or MS plus 7 years of complex program management experience-Bias for action and initiative.-Ability to work and lead a team through ambiguity.-Ability influence without authority within a matrix organization structure.-Ability to overcome obstacles to meet deadlines and goals.-Ability to distill complex program details into simple, easy to understand messaging.-Ability to manage multiple programs at the same time.-Ability to quickly grasp new technology.-PMP (or equivalent) CertificationDesirable Requirements-Ability to anticipate and understand second and third order effects of a decision.-Ability to synthesize solutions to complex challenges or barriers to progress.-Experience with Desktop and All in One PC development.-Experience working for a large companyIf you are ready to take ownership of ambitious and ground-breaking technical programs, this is your opportunity to develop with Dell.Company DescriptionWith more than 100,000 team members globally, we promote an environment that is rooted in the entrepreneurial spirit in which the company was founded.
