LOCATION: 100% onsite in Austin- Opportunity to work from home at times
SCHEDULE: Standard 40 hour work week w/ possibility of overtime
The Data Center Operations Technician will be responsible for performing audits, installing, commissioning and decommissioning hardware, will conduct analysis on the PDU to ensure safety in hardware installations, will need to ensure real time updates are being made appropriately and time.
Responsible for 2 data centers in Central Texas as well as potentially having responsibilities with 4 or 5 labs.
Will be working in a dynamic environment and will be receiving requests from multiple customers, departments, disciplines and will work with a variety of different types of engineers, administrators, DBA's, etc, Perform routine maintenance and repair and may handle hardware or software support, Interfaces with appropriate support groups to escalate issues for resolution, Performs preventive and remedial maintenance of servers and storage equipment located in Data Centers
