RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a Manager Strategic Analytics in Austin, TX.
Key Tasks:
Manager Strategic Analytics will manage a team responsible for analysis, modeling, and interpretation of various data while providing leadership to high visibility projects of strategic importance to the organization
Utilize knowledge of mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis, often requiring integration of data from multiple sources
As a Manager Strategic Analytic, you will creatively use a targeted blend of mediums to provide the most impactful analytic presentations appropriately considering the audience
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in the business then craft analytic projects in pursuit of finding actions to address those opportunities
Manager Strategic Analytics consider, plan for, and implement experiments to prove out the resulting value of your recommendations in coordination with implementing parties in the business
Review accuracy of all data, results, and conclusions of the team, coaching team members to reach a high data standards
Leverage a high level of diplomatic assertiveness by sticking up for your opinions, but also knowing when to pick your battles ensuring positive relationships with business partners
Display an excellent sense of design exhibited in work. There's a purpose to your choices and a consistency in your look/feel/function; Manager Strategic Analytics rather than produce analyses, we create analytic products
Demonstrate a high level of ownership and passion for assigned work while owning problems you find along your data travels and sharing them with the appropriate parties
Provide direct, candid feedback to colleagues, partners and key stakeholders while demonstrating caring, interest, and investment in the success of others
REQUIREMENTS:
Expert level knowledge of SQL or Hive
Expert level knowledge of Tableau
Expertise with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Advanced skills in Python (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, etc.)
Ability to Project Manage including intake management, task tracking, executive summary
Machine Learning experience preferred including gradient boosting, random forests, classifications
Natural Language Processing experience preferred including text embeddings, machine translation
A/B Testing experience preferred including structuring the test, data, and performance analysis
