CES Delivery Lead The Delivery Lead is responsible for facilitating planning and driving delivery of business value through implementation of scaled agile practices, management of risks and dependencies, and ongoing collaboration with the Delivery PD, Product Owners and other key stakeholders.
This Delivery Lead role will be supporting the EMOST team within the CES organization.
Role Description
- PI Planning
o Establish and communicate the annual calendars for sprint cycles (iterations) and Program Increments (PIs)
o Work with Product Owners to identify and communicate objectives for each PI
o Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders for the program/track to help ensure PI objectives align with business roadmap/AOP initiatives
o Facilitate PI Planning readiness through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings o Facilitate the PI planning events for the program/track
- Manage Delivery of PI objectives
o Monitor and communicate progress toward PI objectives, including execution of features and capabilities
o Monitor resolution of program risks, dependencies, and blockers for the program/track identified during or after the PI Planning; escalate as necessary
o Facilitate Scrum-of-Scrums and other periodic synchronization meetings (such as PO Sync)
o Manage and optimize coordinated release schedules for the program
o Facilitate post-Sprint reviews and demos for the program/track
- Build Agile maturity
o Ensure alignment with STS and CES agile standards and measures, program execution guidelines and operational excellence objectives (e.g. Sprint Reports, dashboards, metrics)
o Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Scaled Agile practices
o Drive continuous improvement via Inspect & Adapt workshops, including PI and program retros
What You're Good At
- Plan and drive the delivery of the software releases, ensuring firm-wide objectives are met
- Lead Scrum of Scrum and Product Increment planning.
Be an advocate and leader to transform teams into more mature agile teams with a focus on effectiveness and automation
- Provide supervision and direction to project teams to ensure successful execution
- Manage risks and dependencies between scrum teams
- Foster collaboration between teams and stakeholders
- Define, gather, analyze and communicate key execution metrics
- Collaborate across Build, Support, Automation and architectural teams to help remove roadblocks and drive platform adoption
What You Have
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of Release Management or Release Train experience
- Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework environment facilitating Scrum of Scrums ceremonies is required
- Strong problem solving and the ability to partner with Software Development Managers, Product Owners and other key stakeholders across the organization
- A dedication to the client experience and the stability and reliability of production environments.
