Your Opportunity
Have DevOps mindset and solve problems through systematization.
- Design solutions with failure in mind to ensure reliability.
- Assist in analyzing application configuration management issues in production and test (non-production) environments.
- Develop and maintain configuration and release scripts. Provide release planning services and installation script development for new applications where necessary.
- Create and apply both technology automation and process change.
- Build automation using industry tools (like Bamboo, Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, SALT etc.) to deploy applications and services.
- Troubleshoot issues using monitoring tools such as Splunk and App Dynamics.
- Application and tool development using programming and scripting languages (Powershell, JavaScript, Java).
- Passion for problem solving and developing solutions using technology; self-starter mindset
What you are good at
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 5 or more years of software development and/or DevOps experience.
- Support Application Deployments using CI/CD Tools: Bamboo and Harness.
- Develop CI/CD orchestration systems to reduce friction for software delivery to production.
- Working knowledge and CI/CD experience with tools: Bitbucket, Bamboo, SonarQube, Veracode, Nexus.
- Good understanding of system availability and scalability
- Managing Servers across different platforms to efficiently plan, install, configure, and optimize IT infrastructure to obtain high availability and performance.
- Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS, or equivalent cloud platform experience. Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) environments preferred however any Cloud experience is sufficient.
What you have
Experience with automating repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Python.
- Troubleshoot issues using monitoring tools such as Splunk and App Dynamics.
- Experience with Linux is a must.
- Experience with REST Web APIs or Messaging-based systems;
- Experience working with Oracle database; Knowledge about NoSQL (MongoDB) database is a plus;
- Flexibility to operate in an environment with changing demands and priorities
- Preferred experience with GIT, GITFlow, JIRA, Confluence and Agile frameworks.
- Knowledge of Actimize product is a plus.
