As a part of this team, you will have the unique opportunity to be a part of driving IBM’s ongoing transformation as a company that continuously innovates and leads the market.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe main objective of this role to ensure technologies are properly implemented and fully utilized to deliver to meet the best interests of the business.Responsibilities include:

Establishes architecture standards for custom and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf applications to support the asset management eco system in the energy and utility space including EAM, APM, AIP, GIS, ERP, Mobility, FFM, sensor devices, etc.

Maintain a depth of knowledge of applicable business processes, standards, products and frameworks in the energy and utilities space.

Provide technical leadership to architects and technical leads working on different environments, projects, accounts

Advise on the selection of key enterprise tools (e.g. data source, IOT, sensors, scheduling, graphic design, analytics, mobility);

Support expansion activities such as preparing estimates and defining technical solutions to proposals.

Support review and development of client outcomes and ROI KPI’s for inclusion in sales pursuits and delivery of engagementsUnderstands and supports the business strategies of the Client and IBM.

Develop and owns the end to end technology roadmap.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience in developing enterprise architecture in the utilities; either electric, gas, or water.

Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to interact at a technical and executive level within IBM and with the client.

Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation

Experience with IBM portfolio of asset management products and solutions, including IBM Maximo and IBM APM

Experience with technologies such as ARC GIS, Click Scheduler, Oracle, SAP

Deep understanding of infrastructure components and design including data replication and high availability.

Experience in developing architecture patterns with both custom and COTS applications;Understands limitations and advantages of cloud environment.

Experience designing EAM solution architectures for Energy & Utilities

Develop understanding of key operations and data flows in asset management in the utilities space

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies

Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM)

Understanding and knowledge of IT standards and controls

Ability to work effectively with business and technical roles
