Biderman's Deli is Austin's Jewish-style deli established in 2017. Our core offerings include signature deli food, NY style bagels, and other delicious deli fare. We are currently hiring a Front of House team member for the customer facing side of the operation. The position will be at our new location in Westlake, at Bee Caves and 360. We have a very busy environment during the rush that requires the ability to multi-task and serve in multiple functions as needed. We also pride ourselves on a fun, relaxed environment while working hard and properly serving customers.
FRONT OF HOUSE DUTIES:
- Be the face of our business and greet customers!
- Intimate knowledge of our offerings
- Serve as cashier and check out customers
- Knowledge of bagel food assembly
- Ensure coffee is made and ready for service
- Bus tables and maintain a clean restaurant
- Set up / take down including cleaning
- Other general tasks as required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior restaurant experience required
- Previous customer service experience required
- Bright, outgoing personality that can connect with guests
- Positive attitude is key!
- Punctual and able to show up on time for early shifts
- Flexible, willingness to help out as needed with different tasks
There is an opportunity to quickly jump into a supervisory role based on performance, which comes with higher pay.
SCHEDULE: Our operational hours are 7am-3pm on weekdays and 8am-3pm on weekends. We typically have an opening shift, mid-shift, and closing shift.
