Summit Christian Academy in Cedar Park seeking a Kitchen Aide to serve in the school cafeteria.
Duties
Food preparation for cafeteria menu utilizing commercial kitchen equipment (flat top, fryer, slicer, etc) as well as using knives
Serve lunch to students and faculty
Cleaning equipment, facilities and washing dishes including large pots and pans.
Requirements
Current Food Handlers certification required
Food preparation and packaging/serving abilities
Strong customer service and communication skills
Positive attitude and willingness perform as a member of a team
Detail oriented and ability to identify and perform needed tasks with minimal supervision and ability to handle stress well
Experience tracking inventory and placing orders
Dependable transportation and ability to be on time
Position requires constant standing, walking, and frequent bending.
Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lift or move objects over 40 pounds with assistance.

$15/hour – insurance available
Hours: 7:30 am-3:30pm Monday-Friday (excluding school holidays)
Three (3) evening events per year for special events. (No Weekends)
10 month employment period – August 1 through May 21, 2021 (school year)
Must submit to and pass background check
No smoking allowed on campus
