This client has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Project Manager who can take the reins on several exciting software-driven projects in Austin, Texas. What you get to do:
Take ownership of all project management processes, including but not limited to producing work estimates, resource planning, creating statements of work, etc.
Remain highly engaged with customers and manage third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle
Play a pivotal role in managing client expectations and providing project status updates
Lead and manage experienced technical engineering teams
Take responsibility for removing technical roadblocks while maintaining a positive rapport with stakeholders
What you need to succeed:
8+ years of technical project management experience
Recent experience working on technical projects with U.S. government clients
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build deep relationships and gain team consensus
Extensive experience managing client expectations and third-party vendor relationships
PMP and/or CSM certification(s)
Active security clearance is highly preferred!
