Internal Medicine Practice seeking an experienced full time Medical Assistant(minimal 2 yrs) . The ideal candidate will have EMR experience and solid computer skills. We are looking for a multi tasking MA who is a team player. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of our patients everyday! Bilingual is a plus. Immediate opening. Primary Responsibilities:
-Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist the physician such as injections, EKGs, phlebotomy.
-Delivers quality customer service and maintains established quality control standards
-Shows patients to exam rooms with a great attitude.
-Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner.
-Coordinates patient care as directed by the physician
- Calls patient labs results in a timely manner
-Processes appropriate documents in an organized and accurate fashion.
-Respects patient confidentiality at all times.
-Organizes exam rooms, stocks and cleans rooms and sterilizes instruments.
