Avery Ranch Animal Hospital is looking for a friendly, compassionate and energetic pet loving Kennel Technician/Veterinary Room Assistant to assist our clients and their furry family. We are a full service veterinary medical clinic that offers a broad range of animal healthcare services to help manage the ongoing health of our patients.
One year + experience in the veterinary field and working knowledge of AVImark preferred, will train the right person. Kennel Technicians/Veterinary Room Assistants will be required to stand/crouch for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds. Daily responsibilities include:
-Walking, bathing and general care of boarding animals
-Occasional answering a multi-line phone system
-Scheduling appointments
-Assisting Veterinarians/Technicians with rooms
-Record transcription
-Operating basic office machines
-Face to face interactions with clients
No drama.
This is a full-time position that will include rotating Saturday shifts.
