Our medical practice is looking for a full “time skilled and enthusiastic medical assistant to join our healthcare team. We are growing integrated MD and Chiropractic office providing patients with the latest non-surgical options including stem cell therapies and advanced technologies to help them fully recover and avoid invasive procedures. You will perform a combination of various administrative and clinical tasks as a Medical/Chiropractic Assistant. Primary clinical responsibilities include taking medical histories and recording vital signs, explaining treatment/ procedures to patients, preparing patients for exams/procedures, phlebotomy, assisting the physician during procedures and recovering patients after in office procedures. We will cross train you to cover administrative duties when coverage is needed. Administrative responsibilities include greeting patients as they arrive, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and updating and filing patients medical records.
Medical Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certification a plus
2+ years of experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital preferred
Ability to multi-task, attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with In-Office Procedures/ C-arm preferred
Strong customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Prior experience with EHR is a plus
Must have reliable transportation
