Rare opportunity to bring your clinical skills to our small concierge medicine office with deep Austin roots and great patients.
We are seeking an FNP for a long term, stable career, working approximately half time (several days/week)- schedule negotiable and very flexible.
You will be working under one physician, with only two exam rooms, and very light patient volume. Our mission is quality, not quantity and our office has been in Austin for over 50 years.
Qualifications include solid reliability, upbeat personality, great bedside manner, and attention to detail. Experience is preferred but if you’re eager to learn, reliable, and a true team player, experience isn't mandatory.
Most importantly, you must be proactive and someone who is always looking to learn, help out, and get things done.
Must be able to reach our central Austin office near Mopac/183 by 8am. Clinic isn't open on weekends. Some light after hours call is expected, but isn't onerous at all. This is not your typical call experience, as our office does not have a large patient volume.
Because we are so small, we rely on each of our staff to be cross trained to cover for each other. As such, duties include not only medical, but also some light clerical work (charting, phones, scheduling, etc), but NO prior auth, coding, or complex EMR hassles. Yay!
Duties
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Blood draws, vaccines, rooming patients, ECG, referrals, medication refills, etc
- Provide patient education on disease prevention and health maintenance
- Collaborate with our physician, delivering holistic care
- Oversee medical office operations to ensure efficient patient flow- scheduling, phones, etc.
- Be readily available to patients
