Experienced Directional Drilling Operator wanted to join our Team. Individual will operate horizontal/directional drill rigs, be knowledgeable with locate equipment and product support equipment as well as be familiar with industry standards, guidelines, policies and procedures.
Required essential skills to include:
Operate Horizontal Directional Drill/Ditch Witch to install underground telecommunication cabling conduit to include fiber optic cable.
Operate vehicles / equipment from trucks to other equipment as directed.
Operate construction equipment to move and adjust machines.
Ensure applicable permits and locates are complete and on site.
Read & coordinate utility locates.
Perform inspections of work in progress to ensure proper workmanship
Inspect site for safety of the public and other underground utilities.
Inspect all work is in accordance with safety procedures and proper use of PPE for safety.
Setup and cleanup work site including traffic and pedestrian control.
Properly maintain equipment to include making required repairs (minor) as well as greasing and oiling the machines/equipment
Team leader in the field and take directives as needed and directed by supervisor
Salary/hrly wage dependent upon experience .
