Barton Springs Bike Rental, Austin's largest rental shop, is seeking another great tour guide/ rental assistant. Tour guide standards and training will be provided.
What you will do:
Your main responsibilities will be giving our tours, while also assisting customers through the rental process. We pride ourselves on our customer service and expect you to as well.
Must be outgoing and friendly and able to speak to large groups of people.
Must have a general sense of Austin knowledge and layout.
Must have a valid driver license.
Must be able to safely and effectively give our bike tours.
Must be punctual.
Must be willing to perform all duties including but not limited to: customer service, bike maintenance, driving shuttle van, shop cleaning, etcWhatever needs to be done.
Must be able to work flexible shifts.
What we offer:
We provide a fun and stimulating work environment with some unique privileges such as equipment usage, and flexible work schedule. We are very laid back here.
Compensation: $11-$13 + tips (our guides get tipped very regularly)
Part time, up to 30-40 hours a week if desired.
