I have a judgement ($7700) against a company that I successfully sued for breaking our signed agreement. They (defendant) believe that if a new judge hears the case, they will render a different decision. They are filing an appeal to have another judge hear the case. (I think its a waste of time/money and that we are almost certain to get the same outcome again).
I need a good attorney to represent me in this appeals case. The case is in Austin, Texas but I live in Florida and I cannot afford to fly in and appear in court during this process. I believe the defendant is just trying to drag the process out and delay paying the debt as long as possible.
I have a copy of the judgement and will gladly provide it to whoever is selected for this.
I represented myself in the first case and won. So a half decent attorney should have no problem doing the same in this appeals case. I know the exact defense strategy they plan to use and can easily prepare you for it.
