We’re growing our team and looking for a social media manager / marketing assistant to help us expand our impact in the world.

You would be working closely with our director of marketing supporting the growth and management of our social media profiles (about 1/3 of this role) as well as the various marketing tasks and initiatives we have going on. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented and systematic but also has a creative side when it comes to content creation.

You’re The Ideal Person If:

––> Details are your “thing.” You're at your best managing multiple projects and keeping them on-track.

––> Social media is second-nature to you. Coming up with engaging posts, creating content calendars, engaging with and growing online communities is fun and rewarding to you. Note: We’re a financial company, so you need to be confident on Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, etc.

––> Your written communication skills are fantastic. You’re able to learn our brand voice & personality and write from that style.

––> You’re very tech-savvy and are able to learn new software quickly (Bonus if you’re familiar with any common marketing software)

––> You take direction well, work well both with others and independently, take ownership of tasks assigned to you, and deliver projects on-time.

––> You care about improving the world and align with our company mission (below).

Some Possible Example Tasks:

––> Create an engaging social media content calendar for our platforms weekly, present it for review, and handle the scheduling/posting, repurpose content we already created for social

––> Manage, engage, and grow our social media community

––> Support in setting up landing pages, webinar opt-in pages, scheduling emails, and more

––> Collecting data and creating reports on campaign effectiveness for driving business objectives

––> Updating spreadsheets and various marketing tasks

YOU MUST:

Live in Austin

Have your own laptop to work from

Have reliable transportation

ENGAGEMENT: Full-time –– $22-$25 per hour

WHERE: South Austin: 2-3 days per week in-person, the rest remote/work from home.

NOTE: The job will start 100% work-from-home until things become safe with Covid-19, then transition to a mix of in-person and work from home. Must live in Austin.
