We’re seeking a Software Engineer to join an organization that prioritizes security so stakeholders can use crypto in secure and novel ways. This is a full-time direct hire opportunity in Austin, TX. Our client will have a secure facility and will be required to be on-site as needed. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background and is ready to be challenged. Priority will be given to candidates with DevOps background and an understanding of crypto space. 30% is operational Cloud environment configuration and maintenance
70% is building the systems that go into the crypto asset operations, the tools needed
Test assets before working directly with client assets
Tons of security-based work
Partner closely with Founder and team members to complete project
Should Have:
1-3 years of an engineering background
Interested in or worked in a DevOps infrastructure development environment
Experience working with production environments at any scale
Passionate and curious to explore crypto networks at low levels
Self-driven, "start-up" energy and passion
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Will make you stand out, but not strictly necessary:
Prior experience with blockchain technologies
Experience working in Unix-based systems
Solid understanding of system security concepts
Experience with infrastructure technologies such as AWS services, configuration management systems, containers etc
Interested in or worked with Polkadot, Cosmos, Celo technologies
Experience with any high or low-level language, preferably Rust or GoLang
Prior working experience with physical security
Bachelor or Master's Degree
