Ego's karaoke bar in Austin is currently looking for a responsible, honest, hard-working person to join our team! Duties will include making sure intoxicated persons are not entering the establishment, checking IDs to ensure minors are not allowed in, checking bags to make sure prohibited items are not brought in, general security, maintaining outside noise levels, washing glassware and stocking/cleaning.
The shifts offered are SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY, and WEDNESDAY from 8 or 9PM till 3 or 4AM. There is a possibility to be able to pick up more shifts. Looking to have someone hired and training by Sunday, 4/28. Send us a copy of your resume, TABC and Food Handlers Certificates. Interviews will take place this week.
Door Guy/Bar back requirements:
**Organized, clean and capable of working well with others
**1 year experience working in high volume bar setting
**Strong work ethic, capable of working long hours
**Willing to pick up shifts when/if necessary
**Honest and friendly while still capable of enforcing house rules
**TABC and Food Handler certified
