J.W. Marriott in Downtown Austin is currently accepting applications and resumes for Loss Prevention Officer. The Loss Prevention Officer effectively handles all security related incidents, responds to associate incidents and ensures that Loss Prevention Officers carry out their assigned duties. This is a full-time position and steady work.
Essential Functions:
Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times and anticipate and exceed guest expectations
Respond to all security related incidents in a timely fashion
Respond to all calls immediately and with a sense of urgency
Must be able to communicate properly and effectively with our guest, associates & managers verbally and in writing
Conduct physical hazard inspections of all hotel areas and complete daily patrols to include conference center floors, guestroom corridors and exterior of the building
Complete all written shift reports
During patrols, look out for suspicious or undesirable persons. Escort off property if warranted
Basic understanding of Texas laws concerning the treatment of trespassers
And other duties as assigned by the Loss Prevention Manager and Supervisor.
