As a part-time or full-time Arcade Technicians or Tech Assistant you will repair and do maintenance on a variety of arcade games while assisting in creating a safe, secure, and team-oriented facility. While this is a great hands-on practical experience opportunity for someone, we are eagerly looking for technicians that have previous arcade experience.
What skills do you need?
Strong professionalism and understanding of electro/mechanical theory.
Willingness to take and follow direction from Arcade and Tech Management.
Ability to interact with customers and come up with unique solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to/and over 50lbs, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
What makes a great Game Tech?
Must be 18 years + of age with High school diploma or GED minimum.
A background in computers and information technology.
Previous technical and mechanical repair experience.
Follow arcade dress code standards.
What will you be doing?
Using a digital multi-meter for basic electronics troubleshooting.
Performing electronic and mechanical repairs on various amusement attractions within our facility including, but not limited to: Video, Skill, Redemption, Amusement, Debit/Game-card card systems, Point of Sale and Computer Networks.
Using power and hand tools, a DMM, and soldering equipment.
Reading/following basic electronics schematics and understanding wiring diagrams.
Performing preventative maintenance of games, rides and equipment.
Maintaining arcade-wide organization and cleanliness including tech room and other areas.
Working days, nights, holidays, and weekends in an environment of bright, flashing lights and loud sounds.
Maintaining an inventory of supplies, parts, merchandise, and all other assigned business resources.
