Service Technician

Bar Partners is industry leader in coin-operated entertainment, supplying bars, clubs, lounges, arcades and trampoline parks throughout the country with amusement games for the past 7 years. Bar Partners is searching for talented team members who are eager to work for in a fast paced environment for one of the largest video game operations in the southwest.

Service Technicians are a most valued team member in our business. Our technicians are charged with the responsibility to perform scheduled service, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and advanced repairs on our games.

Service Technicians have a position that requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to new challenges and opportunities. You will work closely with other team members in our technical department as well as in the field. Duties include the setup and testing of newly released amusement machines, refurbishing machines, troubleshooting and component repair, installing machines into new locations and programming machines for proper operation.

Previous amusements, arcade, video game or route experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate that demonstrates the ambition and desire to excel. If you are attending technical school and are looking to work in the field of electronics, this is a great place to start.

Requirements

-Successful completion of a minimum 2 year Technical Training Program, or a minimum of 3 years of technical work experience.

-Outstanding customer relation and service skills

-Strong time management and organizational skills

-Attention to detail and punctuality

-Full knowledge and understanding of electronic components

-Ability to read/follow basic electronics schematics

-Knowledge and work experience using electronic test equipment (Volt Meter, Capacitor tester and Oscilloscope)

-Knowledge and work experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and components

-Must be able to troubleshoot electronic equipment to component level, cross reference and source parts and install in a timely manner

-You must be able to move a standard video game when necessary

-You must have a valid Texas drivers license

-You must be at least 21 years of age

-Must be able to pass drug screening and back ground check

-You must have flexible work availability including occasional week ends

Exceptional Candidates will possess the following suggested skills:

-Working knowledge of video and redemption games

-Excellent soldering / de soldering skills

-Audio installation and troubleshooting

-Monitor and LCD troubleshooting and repair

-Working knowledge of pinball games

-Formal management training and experience
