Established HVAC shop in Cedar Park, TX has an opening for a helper. This is a full time position in a fast-paced environment. This is not for seasonal employment or contract work. Opportunity for advancement.
This is a position that will involve a variety of duties such as:
-Assist technicians in the installation of residential and commercial HVAC systems
-Assist technicians in HVAC maintenance and repairs
-Load and unload trucks
-Organizing and stocking trucks
-Keeping a clean and organized work environment
Required skills:
-Must be able to climb ladders proficiently
-Knowledge of basic hand tools
-Know how to read a tape measure
-Lift 50 - 75 pounds
-Stand 10 - 12 hours per day
-Follow verbal instructions and keep a steady work pace throughout the shift
-Work in a non-climate-controlled environment
-Work 40 hours regularly, 50+ when necessary (OT is mandatory)
WAGE WILL DEPEND ON EXPERIENCE AND SKILL
-Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record
-Must have a positive attitude
-Must be able to pass a drug and background check
-Must live within a reasonable distance
-Must have dependable transportation to work regularly
-Ability to communicate well and cautious while working in homes
-Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED
-Must have a neat and clean appearance
