Propeller By Nettle,Inc. is looking for a propeller repair trainee.
Will teach you how to Repair Propellers and Tig and Mig weld Alum Boats.
The hours for this position are generally 7AM to 3PM Monday to Friday and some Saturdays 9AM to 12 Noon.
In the summer time we generally work 50-60 hours a week. Overtime is required.
Two weeks paid vacation
This position involves welding, grinding, sanding, polishing, and painting of marine propellers and boat repairs.
Job is best suited for a right-handed individual.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be capable of wearing personal protective equipment necessary to comply with safety standards. Job includes tasks that require walking, bending, twisting, gripping, stair and ladder climbing, entering confined spaces, occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.
Temp To Hire
The requirements for this position are:
- NO FEAR OF HARD WORK AT A FAST PACE!
- Welding experience or Shop experience, 2 years experience
- Must Past Welding Test
- Ability to measure to 1/16 of an inch
- Strong work ethic!
- Must have own reliable transportation to get to work
- NO violent or sexual convictions
- NO alcoholics or drug users
The ideal candidate will have welding experience, but not required, a great imagination, excellent measuring skills, and NO FEAR OF HARD WORK AT A FAST PACE!
