JOB DESCRIPTION:
Route will detail shuttle run between postal facilities in the city of Austin, Texas
All routes are home every night
Driver will operate 2012 or newer leased equipment
Driver must arrive on time daily
Driver must inspect truck before, during, and after run for problems. Notify local operations manager of any issues
Complete job daily within guidelines of company procedures and policies, as well as federal and state regulations of operating motor vehicles
Report any delays (weather, traffic, breakdowns) that will interfere with on time arrival at facilities
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Possess valid Class A CDL
Current DOT medical certificate
Clean MVR
Ability to pass a federal background check
At least 25 years of age
At least two years of semi-truck driving experience
No DWIs or felonies
Ability to operate a 53-foot, 10-speed with a manual transmission
No more than two jobs in the last year and six jobs in the last three years
SCHEDULE:
Days: Monday thru Saturday (6 days a week)
Hours: Route #1- Approximately 1:00am - 8:00am (approximately 7hrs/day)
Route #2- Approximately 10:30am - 8:00pm with a mandatory 2-3 hr break (approx, 7hrs/day)
Home daily
COMPENSATION:
$25.00/hour
