Specialty Sand Company an industrial sand company seeks hands on plant manager. Candidate must have relevant experience in the material handling, or in industrial construction/maintenance. Some knowledge of mechanical maintenance, pumps, welding and three phase electrical are a must. Daily duties include identification, planning and solving of simple and complex mechanical and personnel problems, being involved in every aspect of daily plant operations. Enforcing discipline and safety are a priority. Experience with truck drivers and DOT regulations a plus. Personnel management of a team of up to 30, previous leadership skills required. This is a salaried position; benefits include health insurance, profit sharing, paid vacation and holiday, and a company vehicle. Candidates must pass a drug test and have a clean driving and criminal background.
