IT Warehouse Technician – Beaumont, TXThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our client, a world leader in the oil and gas industry in managing the life cycle of all IT hardware into the company’s warehouse / stockroom. This position is based in Beaumont, TX.12 months contract with possibility of renewal.Job Descriptions:
Shipping and receiving of IT equipment.
Manage IT inventory and assist with monthly reconciliations in warehouse / stockroom.
Checking in/out assets into the warehouse or deployment center.
Load, image, configure, troubleshoot and prepare equipment for deployment.
Backing up of data and cleaning up of equipment
Retiring of old equipment
Responsible for the safe and secure storage of equipment in the Warehouse.
Manage new and surplus computer equipment (desktops, laptops, servers, network equipment, phones, printers/plotters, peripherals, etc.)
May backup in the Deployment Centers on Campus and other stockroom / warehouse duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or related certification.
Experience in shipping and receiving and managing of IT inventory.
Must have basic computer skills (email, MS office, etc) and. will be taught specific programs used for asset management)
Must be detail oriented
Must be able to multi task and work under time constraints
Must be able to manage warehouse work (lifting/moving pallets/boxes, loading cages)
Must be able to work well with others (much interaction among other groups on Campus)
Candidate with previous experience in warehouse environment and has worked in shipping & receiving roles will be added advantages.
Must be safety focused and complete all necessary safety training.
Must wear required PPE while working in the Warehouse.
Ability to carry out physical/manual work including lifting/moving of equipment and specialized warehouse equipment.
