Tire Technician Wanted (FULL TIME)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for proper installation of wheels and tires, balancing wheels, checking for correct fit, rotating tires and repairing damaged tires as necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
ï§ Perform wheel and tire installations, balance wheels, check for correct fit, rotate tires and repair damaged tires in accordance with proper procedures.
ï§ Ensure required paperwork before and after work is performed is complete and accurate when installing any product on a vehicle.
ï§ Ensure that customer vehicles are treated with great care. Vehicles must be returned to the customer in the same or better condition than when they arrived.
ï§ Coordinate delivery activities with showroom personnel.
ï§ Coordinate with other store personnel to ensure shop area is clean, organized and safe.
ï§ Follow proper safety and installation measures.
ï§ Advise supervisor of any potential problems.
ï§ Attend ongoing training on safety and new products.
ï§ Provide proper care, service and maintenance of equipment, tools and merchandise.
ï§ Label and engrave products according to company procedure.
ï§ Clean and refurbish merchandise returned from rental.
ï§ Clean, service and maintain company vehicles.
ï§ Protect company assets and maintain company and customer confidentiality.
ï§ Perform additional duties which may include rentals, sales, verifications, collections etc. as necessary.
ï§ Utilize internal company resources including intranet, fitment guide, etc., when needed.
ï§ Ability to work with minimum supervision.
ï§ Ability to work Saturdays and split days off until 7 p.m. or later.

Education/Experience:
ASE Certified Training or one year certified wheel and tire installation experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High School diploma or GED preferred.
