My firm is looking for local counsel to file a TCPA case (Telephone Consumer Protection Act cases) in the Eastern District of Texas (Federal court). We are looking to pay an hourly rate of $150 per hour for local counsel. We will be the lead lawyers and handle the day-to-day litigation in the case but need local counsel to file the complaint, stay abreast of the case, and to appear at status conference hearings if necessary but we would probably want to attend in person. We mostly need you to review the complaint, file it, stay current on the case, and approve our pro hac vice motions so we can get into the case and take care of the day-to-day litigation in the case.Â
You must be admitted in the Eastern District of Texas (Federal Court) and have experience in the federal courts and are familiar with the local rules. You must have ECF access.Â
