Primary Responsibility:
The Mechanical Design & Process Engineer will be responsible for supporting profitability improvements in both product design and engineering processes This position will support several projects over an approximately 8mo period focusing on BOM/Routing improvements, material consolidation and standard work across our brand.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Attention to detail is essential with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to apply Engineering principles in practical application with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and excellent computer skills.
• Strong written communication skills to effectively communicate through all levels of the organization
• Proficient skill level in Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, AutoCAD and/or other design applications required.
• Basic understanding of ERP system (Oracle Business Tools) preferred
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Education/Experience:
• Preferred individual with a degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Civil engineering
• Taken courses or have hands on knowledge of product design or mechanical engineering
Physical requirements:
• Work in conditions typical of a manufacturing environment - noise, dust, odors, etc.
• Able to wear required personal protective equipment - safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.
