Seeking to hire a full time Full Stack Software Developer to be an important part of a team that supports state-of-the-art transportation software used to route and permit oversize and overweight truck loads all over North America for government Departments of Transportation. They will be expected to work with an energetic team that includes project managers, quality testers, GIS specialist and other software developers.

This is a remote work position. A company laptop and peripherals will be provided.
Working hours are flexible, but must be scheduled at least one week in advance.

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

• Design and code new websites in .NET Core using Razor / Blazor.
• Maintain existing .NET Framework websites using Web Forms.
• Work with the Software Development Manager and individual project managers to meet project goals.
• Provide daily updates on work assigned via our project management application.

Required Skills:

• Experience using MSSQL, and writing SQL queries.
• Experience using Visual Studio 2019 to write and debug code, and SSMS to query databases.
• Experience using Team Foundation Server.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, and Razor / Blazor.
• Strong experience with web technologies, such as HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap 5, and Javascript.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a distributed team.
• The ability to multi-task, and adapt to quick changes in priorities.

Desired Skills:

• Experience using Redmine to manage development tasks.
• Experience using Avaya Workplace as a soft phone.
• Experience collaborating in Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint.
• Experience using Paylocity to track hours worked and submit vacation requests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in computer sciences, technology, or long history of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience writing websites in ASP.NET.
