Texas HCS is now hiring for a Caregiver Staff - Day Hab position in Harlingen area.
Texas HCS is a provider of Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF/ID) serving individuals with Intellectual Disabilities in a group home setting. The ideal candidate would provide personal care of individuals with developmental disabilities in an adult day activity setting. The ideal candidate should have caregiver experience, and be fun, clean, mature, dependable, organized, respectful, and patient in challenging situations.
On-the-job training is provided.
8 am to 4 pm Mon. to Fri.
Duties include:
¾General supervision and monitoring of individuals served
¾Teaching specialized training objectives to acquire independent living skills
¾Assistance with grooming and toileting
¾Supervision and assistance during meals
¾Supervision during recreational activities
¾Facility house cleaning
¾Driving company vehicles
¾Communication with co-workers and office staff
¾Specialized documentation
All applicants must pass a criminal history, EMR, Medicaid fraud and driving records check. Valid Texas driver license required.
