Texas HCS is hiring a Live-in Caregiver in the Harlingen area.
HCS is a provider of Home and Community Based Services (HCS) serving individuals with intellectual disabilities. The ideal candidate would have caregiver experience, and be fun, clean, mature, dependable, organized, respectful, and patient in challenging situations. This position is highly compensated for a significant commitment.
Each Live-in Staff resides at an assigned group home to provide care to three other residents during waking hours. Each Live-In is provided with a master bedroom and bathroom, free rent and utilities, plus significant overtime pay for any (or all) weekends that the Live-In chooses to work.
Duties include:
* Assistance with grooming and toileting
* Assistance with meal preparation and mealtime monitoring
* Assistance with medications
* Supervision during recreational activities
* House cleaning
* Driving company vehicles
* Communication with outside family members and office staff
* Documentation
On-the-job training is provided. All applicants must pass a criminal history, EMR, Medicaid fraud and driving records check. Valid Texas driver license required.
Monday to Sunday 6a-8:30a/3:30p - 9:30p
Rotating weekends off.
Live In Staff will be off duty from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
