The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair injection molding and secondary equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair Injection molding auxiliary equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair Paint line and associated equipment
Diagnoses and repairs electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic machine problems.
Performs preventive maintenance procedures.
Completion of projects as required.
Maintains machine and work area cleanliness.
Maintains a safe working environment.
Maintain good attendance.
Maintains a high level of commitment to the company.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and system documentation.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general associate.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Basic injection molding process and equipment knowledge is a plus.
Experience in troubleshooting procedures.
Basic writing and math skills.
