Sunbelt Transportation is a family-owned and operated trucking company and full-service diesel mechanic shop located in Brownsville, TX. Sunbelts primary business is providing transportation services throughout the Continental United States.
We are currently to fill the full-time position for a gate guard to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.
Responsibilities
Protect the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
Prepare required reports and records as required/directed. Maintain necessary records. As necessary, turn
reports and records in to designated official
Take accurate notes of unusual incidents
Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
Monitor control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
Watch alarm systems or video cameras
Other duties as assigned
