DIVISION: Aggregates THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Plant ManagerFLSA: This is an hourly / Non-Exempt position SUMMARY:The Crusher Control Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment to crush various types and sizes of aggregate. Control Operator job duties. Primarily work 10-hours per day, 5 days per week. Will also be required to work up to 14-hours per day, and up to 7 days per week as needed during the busy construction season.QUALIFICATIONS:High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Must have the ability to interpret and apply verbal and/or written instructions in English.

Must have good depth perception and coordination to operate machine controls.

Experience in machinery maintenance, repair and equipment operation preferred, but employer will train.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

RK Hall, LLC conducts post-conditional offer background check, fitness for duty evaluation, and pre-employment drug testing.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Operates crusher machinery by operating computerized control panel. Works inside enclosed booth to oversee and look down upon the machinery and crushing process.

Troubleshoots and communicates problems with ground crew.

Assists with machine maintenance and repairs. Unplugs and shovels off conveyors and screens. Changes out screens, rollers, cone liners, etc. Repairs conveyor problems. Greases moving machine parts.

Performs crusher machinery set up and take down which includes running cables and hoses, setting up blocks, tarping, shoveling aggregate, etc.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:May perform other duties as required.

Demonstrates the ability to conform to and maintain MSHA, Environmental, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.

Demonstrates the ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions.

Demonstrates the willingness to learn and work a variety of job tasks.

Demonstrates the ability to complete timecards correctly.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENTIndividuals wear personal protective equipment in designated operations and production areas as required by OSHA and/or MSHA and company policy.
